Jayco Caravans as Australia’s largest campervan manufacturer entrusted the Designed Engineering and Installation of a unique drive through system to TRUFLOW Spray Booths: for a high airflow versatile drive through application a system had to be designed from scratch.

The scope of the project involved a product size of over 15 meters long and 6 meters wide. This required a oversized spray booth with a total width of over 8 meters in width and length of over 18 meters: all in a drive through format.

The products to be painted would be quite varied and the booth required the option of being fully heated at a later stage. As such a unique crossflow ventilation design was created with separated exhaust filter plenums. The final outcome was very pleasing to everyone. High Air Volume installed outside to accommodate for space highly lite environment and provisions for future upgrades to the system.

Safety was of course a key concern and as such the TRUFLOW Spray Booth was engineered and installed with a number of safety mechanisms including alarms and interlocks. The compliant Spray Booth not only met Australian Standards 4114.1 amp;.2 but had additional safety mchanisms installed that are a TRUFLOW OHamp;S Standard. Ensuring a safe workplace.

Next Volvo Xc Spells Volvos Future Design Language

Volvo’s future auto design is leading a new direction. Recently a preview of what is to come is made available to some lucky journalists and enthusiasts. Volvo earlier pulls wraps off its allnew XC60 Concept which showcases fresh and striking design.

XC60 Concept is set to be introduced in Detroit’s auto show next month. There dealers and enthusiasts alike can take their first look at the future design of Volvo under the administration of Steve Mattin the automaker’s new guru. In an interview Mattin said that the XC60 concept will indicate Volvo’s new design DNA. He added “It will have technical as well as design innovation. But it’s a real concept car not just a disguised production car.” In other words its relationship to the real thing will be as the 2000 ACC concept was to the XC90. “It takes the emotion of the C30 a step further.”

Mattin also gave the metes and bounds of the future design of the automaker. He said “We need to be recognizable as Volvo. We’re still about Scandinavian simplicity; we can’t be playful or do styling for the sake of styling. Volvos last a long time so our design must have legs. But we can’t be too simple or we’d edge toward blandness. And we can’t change; we must be fresh. I want to broaden our design and have more variation between car lines.”

XC60 combines the power of Volvo XC90 vintage car truck parts and the elegance of C30 auto parts to pave way for a remarkable new XC. The vehicle has an elegant glass roof catchy front grille with angles positioning lights on its sides sophisticated interior and comfortable ergonomics.

According to enthusiasts the future of Volvo design is anything but bland. Volvo president Fredrik Arp said “The XC60 will be as important as the C30 in expanding the brand’s sales.” Arp added that the concept is a good indicator of what the production model will look like.

Volvo expects that the new XC will capture the desires of modern day owners which have active urban lifestyle. The automaker also intends to follow up the concept version with the production venture before the end of the decade.

First Glance At Volvo C30

Volvo C30 was first shown during the Detroit show of 2006. Since its debut car enthusiasts were interested in Volvo’s smallest car. Brace yourselves as the Volvo will show the production version of the two door hatch at the Paris auto show this coming September. Although the Volvo Company has not yet planned the US sales they claim that the car will be available in US by next year.

According to Volvo’s president and CEO Fredrick Arp the latest breed of Volvo Cars is scientifically and precisely made for young singles with an active and social lifestyle. The company is expecting to sell 65000 units of C30s every year. Volvo Cars North America pointed out that the company is still deciding whether the car should be sent to US.

C30 is Volvo’s smallest car and it is one inch and a half smaller than the Audi A3. With a length of 167 inches long C30 is 8.5 inches shorter than Volvo S40. Quality and comfort is also a must for Volvo C30. It features a fourseater folding rear bucket seat located at the inboard for a more spacious and superior windshield visibility.

It uses the same 2.5liter turbocharged fivecylinder engine Volvo used in both S40/V50 and C70. This four wheel drive car develops 218 hp and 236 lb ft of torque from the engine used.

This car is also made for safety and security. It has a Blind Spot Information System that tells the driver that another vehicle is in its blind spot. Like other cars it also has safety belt pretensioners side airbags as well as whiplash protection system. Riders will not only feel relaxed but they will also feel free from harm at the same time.
