Does The Added Water Vapor That Water For Gas Systems

Does The Added Water Vapor That Water For Gas Systems Generate Corrode The Engine?

This is a hot topic right now with many of the persons that are adding HHO or Brown’s Gas producing systems to their automobiles. In the discussion group at the water4gas member’s forum area an overwhelming number of answers have come from the many experimenters.

Basically they are saying that the water vapor that emanates from the electrolyzer seems to clean the engine including the valves pistons and other passages. I confirm that this seems to be the case with my vehicles as well.

I tried this technology on many cars myself. Like on my 18year old Lexus LS 400 my 10year old mini van my friends 25year old GMC Van and others. I have never seen a problem. The cars run smoother and quieter when you install the system. And of coarse the engine runs more roughly shortly after you remove it. but not as bad because it will take years to accumulate the same amount of junk that it has cleaned.

The amount of water in the HHO mixture is a minuscule. There is however a lot of water to be found in the fuel on a regular basis. This is true especially when driving in the rain or any humid area. You never here of cars having internal engine corrosion problems in the Pacific Northwest only body rust problems. Also many times the gas itself will come with a little water mixed in. The bottom line is less damage and less maintenance in the long run. The savings just from resolving the engine’s pinging or knocking makes for less wear and tear on everything even on the transmission.

But won’t the water vapor make the exhaust system rust?

No. The water vapor is very hot inside the engine and cleans but does not cause rust to form due to the temperature being very high. Another very important point is that there is enough lubrication in the gasoline itself to prevent any corrosion of this nature. The water vapor and hydrogen clean the carbon deposits off the pistons valves rings etc. This is why the engine starts to run smoother.

It is cooler in the converter and back in the tail pipe but it’s not much different than driving in the rain or any humid area/weather.

Of note is that during WW II Air Force pilots noticed that when they flew close to the water their engine started to run better. So guess what that’s right they experimented with injecting a fine mist into the engine. And wala their engines ran smoother. And there were no reports of corrosion problems that I know of.

The bottom line is that this technology has an overall good effect on the longevity of the engine. There will be less maintenance fewer breakdowns and of coarse improved gas mileage. And most people are especially interested in saving money and saving gas right now at the gas pump and that’s what we all are looking for. The benefit of less pollution is a great plus as well. I personally noticed a radical difference with my Lexus just think if all cars did that. I think that my emissions have been halved. I will run a test to confirm this at the smog station in fact I have already talked to them about that and they are cool with it.

Accessories For A Brand New Car

Accessories For A Brand New Car

For most people owning their first car is a rite of passage an act that entails responsibility and a mature approach to life; its much like holding that drivers license for the first time. Owning a car for the first time is a major milestone for anyone especially for teenagers. Even if they get a used car with faded dashboard covers or a dilapidated pickup truck with missing floor mats the vehicle will still be a special something that will be remembered for decades.

It is only proper then that relatives and friends of firsttime drivers should hand out advice and car accessories to bolster the enthusiasm of fledgling drivers. Accessories would give any ride a heightened degree of glamour and sophistication to that first car regardless of whether its a preowned truck or a sleek sports car.

While a traditional air freshener to hang on the rearview mirror is always the staple gift for firsttime car owners giving them custom seat covers is a guaranteed surprise. Complementing such presents with a nice set of specialized floor mats will neatly add to the trick. Gifts like these would be more than appreciated especially if the car is an old or preowned vehicle.

For those that came out from the showroom the stock dashboard covers should be fine; theres no need to replace them for at least two years. Custom seat covers for the car owner work best if they are detailed to the exact requirements of the one who will be using the car most. Asking the car owner subtle questions on how he wants his cars interiors to look is a good way to fish for hints.

For those who arent quite sure what to get giving the car owner vouchers or discount coupons from carwash establishments are great options. They are also some of the most useful gifts one can give to a new car owner. Buying firsttime car owners some carwash kits sponges washcloths tire shampoos etc. or a book on how to use a hydraulic jack and replace a flat wheel are also viable ideas.

Not all car owners know much about a cars engine and how to make it start when it bogs down so a book on jumpstarting a car is also an excellent gift. For those who are very superstitious placing some statuettes of saints and other divine figures on the dashboard are good options as well.

For those who can afford expensive accessories getting a car pimped with customized body paint or rigging it with powerful speakers can be arranged. Other somewhat pricier accessories one can get a firsttime car owner are customized racing seats engine upgrades or a cool set of tires. They are substantially more expensive than most accessories though so much that most people would rather install those accessories to their own cars rather than fitting them to someone elses.

All in all people can buy firsttime car owners a lot of stuff ranging from the practical ones to the luxury additions and options. The only thing that matters is making sure that the gifts would blend right in. Knowing the year and the model can go along so its always best to know what the cars make is before cashing out.

Renault Confident Of Catching Bmw Sauber

Renault Confident Of Catching Bmw Sauber

Giancarlo Fisichella is confident that French Renault can take third place off BMW in this season’s constructors’ championship.

Although the French team entered the 2007 season with the intent of retaining both World titles a difficult first half has seen the Renault’s goal revised to catching BMW for third place. It is fair to say that the last two races were a bit disappointing all the more so because they were our home races said Fisi. We knew that it would be a tough battle with BMW: all of the teams are making progress and our challenge is to do so faster than them in order to get ahead and try to close the gap in the Championship.

Fisi is confident that Renault is heading the right way and that it is just a matter of time before they take third place off their German rivals. We are going in the right direction and everybody is doing their maximum he added. I am convinced that if we carry on like this our hard work will pay off.

Bob Bell teams technical director agrees that Fisi that clawing back to the deficit to BMW is Renault’s revised target for the second half of the 2007 Championship. The target is clear: to continue closing the gap to BMW on track and to begin doing so in the Championship he said. If you look back to the opening races of the year it was as if we were in a different race to them. Now we are regularly qualifying in the top ten and according to the type of circuit racing with our direct rivals.

Giancarlo and Heikki Kovalainen are both pushing very hard and getting the maximum from the car. They now need more performance to fight on equal terms with BMW he added. That is what we are focused on providing them throughout the second half of the year beginning this weekend at the Nurburgring.

BMW Sauber on the other hand is gaining momentum. Nick Heidfeld admitted he never expected his BMW Sauber team to be Formula One’s third strongest outfit this year. The team finished a distant fifth in last year’s constructors’ championship and aimed to be in the top four this season. However the German team has exceeded its expectations thus becoming the third best team behind Ferrari and McLaren. Additionally the team has already scored 20 points more than in all of 2006.

We have exceeded expectations said Heidfeld. I was sure that we would step up a level in our second season on the grid. Having said that we finished fifth in the constructors’ standings last year 50 points off fourth place and there was no way I could have expected us to be the thirdbest team already.

The German driver believes BMW will continue making progress and reckons it is just a matter of time before the team reaches the top. I hope it’s just a matter of time he said. The F1.07 is in effect the first genuine BMW Sauber. The Sauber is not equipped with BMW 740 parts instead it is given the best race parts to produce a remarkable performance.

Even more experience and resources will go into next year’s car. We are heading in a positive direction. I think we’re pretty well prepared for the ‘Ring Heidfeld said.

The Nurburgring is Heidfeld’s home race. I am very much looking forward to the race on the Nurburgring he said. That’s where the greatest number of my fans have always turned up and thanks to this year’s good results there will probably be a few more.
